Anyone with an ounce of intelligence will know a) his West Ham shirt was in the wash and b) when tickets are cheap many that can't afford to get to games normally would like to come.
I hope he enjoyed the game and that the stewards gave him the protection he needed from thick morons that would recommend whacking scarfers from behind their keyboard.

I was walking down a side road from Plaistow when a load of old Muslims got out of a van to go into what I suppose was a Mosque, not more than a street away from the West stand.
As me and a pal passed them one of them turned round to me grinning in a friendly way and said in broken English 'Last time Liverpool here eh?'
There was absolutely no malice in what he said (I took him to be a Liverpool fan)- they simply don't understand our football tribe.
A word in the ear of the kid in the manc shirt would have sufficed- unlike the two lairy scouse cunts in Liverpool shirts in our end as bold as brass during the 2006 cup final. They were told in not friendly terms that they'd deprived two West Ham supporters of seats in our big day out and took a right fucking battering for their trouble. And quite right too.
